We are based out of Pondicherry, right on 5th Cross Street in Mariyal Nagar. It’s a decent area in Reddiyarpalayam where people know each other. Our day starts early because the sun gets hot pretty fast around here. We work in construction, so we spend a lot of time out on various sites, getting our boots dirty. Back at the office, it’s mostly just us trying to keep the schedules straight and making sure we have enough cement and bricks. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours. We don't have any fancy mission statements or things like that. We just look at the plans and try to make them happen on the ground. Some days are smoother than others. When the rain comes, everything slows down and we just wait it out. The staff here are mostly from around the town. We share meals and talk about how the projects are going. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the files and blueprints lying around, but we know where everything is. We’ve stayed in this spot for a while because it’s easy for people to find us. We don't do much advertising. Most people hear about us through word of mouth, which is fine by us. It’s just a regular construction outfit doing what needs to be done. We focus on the work at hand and don't worry too much about the rest of the fluff.
