Ruchi Packaging Pvt. Ltd

Our factory is at C-11 in the Pipdic Indl.Est. out in Mettupalayam, Pondicherry. Ruchi Packaging Pvt. Ltd has been operating from this industrial estate for quite a while. It is a big area with lots of other sheds and trucks moving in and out all day. The heat in Pondicherry can be tough, so the high tin roof of our building helps a little, but it still gets warm by midday. You can always hear the sound of the machines running and the heavy tape being pulled. It is a loud environment, but we are used to it by now. We have a small cabin for the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the main floor. The roads inside the estate aren't the best, especially after it rains, but the lorries still manage to get through. We have a few trees planted near the entrance to get some shade. Lunch breaks are usually spent sitting near the big door where there is a bit of a breeze. We don't go in for fancy talk or big presentations. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come to the gate. It is hard work, and the days are long, but there is a rhythm to it that feels good. We are just a regular part of the Mettupalayam industrial scene, keeping things moving one box at a time.
