It’s a pretty noisy spot because of all the trucks and cars going by all day long. We started this as a one-person company because it seemed easier to manage things that way. Dealing with global trade sounds a lot more glamorous than it actually is in person. Most of the time it is just us sitting in the office trying to figure out why a container is delayed or talking to customs officials. We handle a bit of everything, whatever people need to move in or out of the country. The office isn't very large but it serves its purpose for storing files and meeting a few clients now and then. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes work a bit slow, so we take long breaks for lunch. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to make sure the goods get from point A to point B without too much trouble. It takes a lot of patience to deal with all the rules and different time zones. You end up working late nights sometimes just to talk to someone halfway across the world. It’s a lot of back and forth, but that is just how this business goes for us.
