Rama Sethu Banking Service Center

We are over at 186 Cuddalore Main Road in Thavalakuppam. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the Aravind Eye Hospital. That hospital is a big place so most people use it as a landmark to find our shop. We handle banking services here, mostly helping people with their daily transactions or whatever paperwork they need for their money. It is a small office with a counter and some pens and forms on the desk. It gets quite busy because of the hospital nearby, people are always coming and going on this road. We see a lot of different faces, some are worried about their eyes and some are just in a hurry to get home. We try to keep things moving so no one has to wait too long in the heat. There is a fan on the ceiling that stays on all day long. The traffic on Cuddalore road is loud, you can hear the horns all the time. It is a practical kind of job. We aren't here to give big speeches, we just do the numbers and handle the cash or the transfers. Sometimes we have to explain things twice if the forms are a bit confusing. It is just a regular service center for the folks living around Thavalakuppam or visiting the eye clinic. We open up the shutters in the morning and stay until the evening rush is over. It is honest work.
