Patricia Guest House

Patricia Guest House is at 20/28 on Francois Martin Street. We are right at the corner of Dupuy Street in the Pondicherry Bazaar area. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street. The guest house is just a simple building where we have rooms for people staying in Pondicherry. It is not a very big place, but it keeps us busy every day. We spend a lot of our time cleaning and making sure the beds are ready. Some days the bazaar is very crowded and it’s hard to even walk on Francois Martin Street. Our address is 605001. We don’t have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people find us because they are looking for a place near the corner. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually sit near the front where there is a bit of a breeze. The building feels old and has its own quirks, like doors that don’t always shut perfectly or floors that creak a bit. It is just a regular spot for people to rest. We don't do anything special, just provide a room and a key. Sometimes we sit outside on the corner and watch the bikes go by. It’s a practical way to live and work. We have been here at this corner for a long time now. The neighborhood is loud but it feels like home to us and we just keep doing our thing.
