We are located at number 50 on Mettu Street in Santhai Puthukuppam, which is part of the Valudavur area. It is a bit of a distance from the main Pondicherry town center, so it is much quieter here most of the week. Our place is near the market area, the santhai, so on market days it gets a lot more crowded with people coming from the surrounding villages with their goods. We have a simple shop where we help people with their travel needs. Whether it is a bus or a van, we try to see what can be arranged for them. The office is just a basic room, nothing too fancy at all. We have a wooden desk and a couple of benches for people to sit on while we work out the details of their journey. Sometimes we have to wait for the phone signal to be good to make the calls to the drivers. It is just how things are out here in the village. We know most of the people who walk past our door. It is a friendly place to be. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything, we just stay open and help whoever walks in. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, but we keep the place as clean as we can with a broom. It is a small business run by people who live right here. We enjoy the work and helping our neighbors get where they need to go.
