One Point Six Fashion India Private Limited is located at No. 1, 3rd Cross Street in Ramanapuram. This is over in Pondicherry, which has a very specific kind of feel to it. The street is a bit narrow, and you have to be careful when you’re driving down it. It’s a quiet enough area, away from the main tourist spots. We are in a regular building that looks like many others on the street. Inside, it’s just a few of us working on our fashion projects. The air can get a bit salty because we aren't too far from the coast, which sometimes messes with the electronics. We have our desks set up near the windows to get whatever breeze we can. It’s a simple life here. We don't have any fancy receptionists or big logos on the wall. We just focus on the clothes and the designs we are working on. Most days are pretty routine. We start early before it gets too hot and try to finish up by evening. Sometimes we walk down the street to get some coffee. Pondicherry is a nice place to work because it’s not as rushed as the big cities. We like the pace of Ramanapuram. It gives us a bit of space to think. One Point Six is just a small company trying to make its way from this little corner of Pondicherry.
