Mathan Electricals

Mathan Electricals is located at No. 105 on the Main Road in Odiampet. It is a straightforward little shop near the Villianur area. We have been here at this post for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but it works for us. Being on the Main Road means there is a lot of dust and noise from the buses and trucks, but it also means people can find us without much trouble. We mainly keep a stock of basic electrical parts and wires that the local people need for their houses. The shop is quite small, and the shelves are usually overflowing with boxes of all sizes. We don't have a computer system or anything high-tech; we just know where everything is by memory. Most of the time, it is just me and one helper sitting behind the counter. We spend our mornings checking the stock and the afternoons helping whoever walks in. Sometimes a neighbor stops by just to chat for a bit while we test a light or a switch for them. Villianur is a busy place, but Odiampet feels more like a community where everyone knows everyone else. We don't do any big advertising because the sign out front is enough for the locals to see. It is a quiet way to earn a living, and we don't have any plans to change how we do things. We just keep the lights on and the parts ready for the next customer who needs a fix for their home or office.
