New Royal Cabs

Our place is on the first floor at No 1, Villianur Main Road in Nellithope. We are right there in the Vivekanandha Nagar area. Being on the main road means we see everything that happens in Nellithope. New Royal Cabs started out with just one car and now we have a few more. The office is up a flight of stairs, so we get a good view of the traffic. It gets very busy on Villianur Main Road, especially during rush hour. We spend most of the day coordinating with drivers over the phone. It’s a lot of "where are you now?" and "how long until you get there?". We don't have any fancy software to track everything; we just use our heads and some notebooks. The office is plain and functional. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit if they are waiting for a ride. We’ve been in this Nellithope spot for quite some time. It is a good location because it's easy for the drivers to pull in and out. Sometimes the heat makes the office feel a bit stuffy, but we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a cab service helping people get around Pondicherry without too much trouble. You can find us right above the shops on the main road.
