Mommas Kitchen Private Limited

Our kitchen is tucked away in the Akash Apartment, specifically unit C6 on Goubert School Street in Vazhaikulam. Being in Pondicherry, we get a lot of local folks stopping by or asking about what we are cooking up. It’s a busy little spot. We called it Mommas Kitchen because we wanted it to feel like the kind of place where real food gets made without all the fuss. We spend most of our time over the stoves or prepping ingredients on the counters. The kitchen can get pretty warm, especially in the afternoons. We aren't a big fancy restaurant with waiters in suits. It’s more of a practical workspace where we focus on getting the recipes right. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and have to dash to the market, which is just part of the daily routine. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone while trying to stir a pot at the same time. The apartment setup works for us because it keeps things small and manageable. We like being in this part of town, even if parking on Goubert School Street can be a bit of a nightmare. We just keep our heads down and keep the ovens going. That is the way it has been since we first opened the doors here.
