United Herbal Company Pvt. Ltd. is over at No. 156 Mission Street. It’s an old part of town, and our building has that same kind of character. We deal with all sorts of herbs and plant-based things. The smells inside the place are quite strong—lots of earthy and spicy scents that stick to your clothes. We spend most of our time packing things up or weighing out different roots and leaves. It’s not a high-tech factory; it’s more of a warehouse and office combined. Mission Street can be quite a walk if you’re coming from the bus stand, but it’s a nice enough area. We’ve been doing this for years, and the routine hasn’t changed much. We get the shipments in, we check to see if everything looks right, and then we send them out to the shops. Sometimes we have to deal with delays or things getting lost in the mail, which is frustrating, but we sort it out. We aren't a big corporation with thousands of employees. We’re just a small group of people who know a bit about plants. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. If someone wants to know what we have, they usually just call us up or stop by the front door. It’s a plain way of doing business, but it works for us. We've been at this a long time and don't plan on changing.
