K.P.N.Trvels

We are located on M.M. Salai, right near the Krishna Bakery. That’s a good landmark for us because everyone in Pondicherry knows where to get their bread and cakes there. K.P.N.Trvels is just a small office at this address. It’s a basic setup with a couple of chairs for people who are waiting for their buses or booking tickets. M.M. Salai is a major road, so it can get quite noisy with the traffic and the horns blowing. We’ve been here at this location for a long time. The office is usually filled with the smell of the bakery next door, which isn't a bad thing at all. We don't have a big team of people. It’s just a few of us handling the phones and the walk-ins. We use a lot of paper and the desks are always a bit cluttered with notes and schedules. We don't use any fancy marketing talk or try to pretend we are something we aren't. We are just a local travel office. People come in with their questions about routes and we give them the answers. It’s straightforward work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back on. That’s just life in Pondicherry. We are here from early morning till late at night, making sure things run as they should. It’s a busy, simple life. We don't need much more than a working phone and a place for people to sit.
