Proma Exports

We've been here at 12 V. O. C. Street for a while now. Kamaraj Nagar is a busy spot, and our building fits right in with the rest of the neighborhood. Most days it’s just the usual work of sorting through export orders and making sure everything is packed correctly. It gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but we just keep our heads down and get on with things. The space isn't huge, but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with overseas shipments, which means a lot of paperwork and checking boxes over and over again. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the highlight of the afternoon. People walk past the gate all day, probably wondering what all the wooden crates are for. It’s a lot of physical work, moving stuff around and making sure nothing gets damaged before it leaves. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything like that. It’s mostly metal desks and storage shelves. If you come by, you’ll probably see someone loading a truck or staring at a shipping manifest. That’s just how it goes here. We try to stay organized, but with so many things going out, the floor stays pretty cluttered. It’s a honest living, I guess. Nothing too exciting happens, just the daily grind of exports and keeping things moving. We've seen the neighborhood change a bit, but we’re still here doing the same things every morning. It is just us and the boxes.
