Jana Travels

Our office is tucked away at No 13, on the 3rd Cross in Gandhi Nagar. If you know Thattanchavadi, you know it is a busy part of Pondicherry. We have been operating Jana Travels from this spot for a while. It is a quiet street compared to the main roads, which is nice when you are trying to organize travel plans. We get a lot of local people coming by because they live just a few streets over. Gandhi Nagar has a specific feel to it, and we are just a part of that neighborhood. Being in the 605009 area, we see a lot of the same faces every day. We don't really do the whole polished corporate thing. It’s more about sitting down and figuring out where someone needs to go. Sometimes the weather is hot and we just keep the fan going and wait for the next person to walk through the door. Travel work can be unpredictable, but we stay consistent at our 3rd Cross location. People usually find us by word of mouth or just because they were walking through Gandhi Nagar. We don’t have fancy brochures or anything, just a desk and some chairs. It is a small setup, but it works for us and for the people who rely on us here in Thattanchavadi. We just focus on getting through the day bookings and making sure the details are sorted out correctly. It's just a regular local shop for the community.
