You can find us at No. 1, Vallalar Street, which is right in the Pondicherry Bazaar area, specifically in Vanarapet. Being at the very start of the street makes it quite easy for people to find us when they are out doing their shopping in the bazaar. It is a very lively part of town with a lot of noise and movement throughout the day. Our office is a small room where we manage all the tours and travel bookings. We have a couple of desks and some stools for when people come in to chat about their travel dates. The walls have a few pictures of places people like to go, but mostly it is just a functional space for us to work. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with different people. Sometimes the bazaar gets so crowded that it is hard to find parking nearby, but that’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We don’t use any fancy systems, just a simple way of keeping track of who is going where and when. It feels like a very local business because we are right in the middle of the daily life of Vanarapet. We have been at this Vallalar Street address for quite a while now. Most days are spent just keeping up with the requests and making sure we have the right information for every trip. It is a straightforward job and we just take it one day at a time.
