Gammon India Limited

We are based over in Pondicherry at 8A, 2nd Cross in Ajees Nagar. It’s right near the Canara Bank, which is the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone visiting. Gammon India Limited has had this branch for a good while. It’s a coastal town, so the air is a bit salty and the vibe is a bit more relaxed than the bigger cities. Our office is just a regular building on a regular street. We’ve got a small crew handling the local project work. We usually have the doors open to let some air in while we go over the logistics and the payroll for the site workers. It’s not a high-pressure environment in the office, though the sites can get pretty busy with all the moving parts. We all know the local shops around here for lunch and usually go out together. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don’t use a lot of big words or have long meetings about nothing. We just check the progress, talk to the foremen, and make sure everything is moving along as it should. The neighbors in Ajees Nagar are good people and they see us coming and going at all hours. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the street. It’s a practical place to work and we don't need much else. Just some good people and a clear plan for the daily tasks.
