We are located at No 130 on the first floor of a building on Kamarajar Salai here in Pondicherry. It is a busy street, so you can always hear the traffic from our office window. We have been at this address for a good number of years now. The office isn't very big, but it has everything we need to help people with their travel plans. Usually, it is just a couple of us sitting at the desks handling phone calls and writing down details for bus and train tickets. We have some old maps pinned to the wall and a small area for people to sit if they are waiting for their paperwork to be finished. Sometimes the office gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, so we keep the fans running at full speed. It is a simple place. We don't go in for fancy decorations or anything like that. Most of our day is spent checking schedules and making sure we haven't missed any details for the trips we are booking. Kamarajar Salai is a good place to be because it's right in the middle of things. We see a lot of people passing by every day. If you are coming to see us, you just need to find the stairs that lead up to the first floor. We try to keep things organized, even though the desk sometimes gets buried under piles of ticket receipts and brochures. It’s just how a local office works.
