Dost Learning Foundation

Dost Learning Foundation is located in the Annai Thersa Apartment building in Lawspet. If you come into Block-II and go to Ff.A, you’ll find us. We’re in the Saint Paul Pet area of Puducherry. It’s a lively neighborhood with lots of families and kids running around. We started this foundation because we thought that learning should be something that’s available to everyone, no matter their situation. Our office is basically a few rooms filled with books, old desks, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It’s a bit crowded, especially when we have a few people over at once. We aren't professional teachers or anything; we’re just people who value knowledge and want to share it. Sometimes the neighbors in the apartment complain if we’re too loud, so we try to keep it down. We don't have any corporate funding or a big board of directors. It’s just us and the local volunteers who give us a hand. We spend a lot of time trying to explain things in simple ways. We don't have any glossy brochures or a big logo on the door. It’s just a plain sign. We’re just a local group trying to make a difference in Lawspet. Some days it feels like we aren't doing enough, but then someone learns something new and it makes it all feel worth the effort. We handle the 605008 zip code paperwork as it comes.
