Cococara Private Limited

You can find us over at No. 42 on Chellaperumal Street. The Kuyavarpalayam neighborhood is always moving, especially when the sun comes up. Cococara is our small business here in the Kosapalayam area. We work with coconut products most of the time. It gets a bit messy, but we don’t mind the work. The air around the shop usually smells like oil and husks. We aren’t some big corporation with glass offices. Our workspace is very basic, just some old machines and enough floor space to sort through the stock. My brother handles the heavy lifting and I take care of the paperwork. It’s been this way for several years now. We’re good friends with the tea seller down the road. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of everything before it leaves. We don’t really keep a website updated; we just like talking to people face to face. If the gate is open, you can bet we’re inside working on something. Sometimes we have to stay late if a big order comes in at the last minute. That’s just how it goes. The street gets crowded with scooters, so finding a place to park is a nightmare. But we like being in this part of town. It feels right. We’ve lived in Pondicherry our whole lives, so it made sense to start here and stay local.
