Bhagyam Travels

We’ve been at 224 Marai Malai Adigal Salai in Kosapalayam for quite a while now. Most people around Pondicherry know where we are because this road is always busy with traffic and people going to work. Bhagyam Travels is just a small office where we handle the bookings and talk to people who want to hire a vehicle for a trip or maybe just a drop-off somewhere. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the fan is usually going full speed to keep us cool. Our drivers are local men who know the shortcuts around town and the main roads out to other cities. We have a few different cars parked nearby, depending on what’s available that day. Sometimes it’s quiet, other times everyone wants a car at the same time and things get a bit hectic. We don’t have any fancy brochures or big signs, just the board outside. People stop by to ask about prices or to see if a driver is free for the weekend. We try to keep the vehicles clean, though the dust from the road makes it hard some days. It is mostly just about getting people from one place to another without too much fuss. If you walk past the shop, you’ll likely see one of us sitting there with a ledger or on the phone. We don't do much online, we just prefer talking to people who come into the office on the main road here. It works out fine for us.
