Pondicherry Textile

If you head over to Arumbarthapuram, you will find Pondicherry Textile. We have been in this area for quite some time now. It is a bit away from the main tourist beaches, which we actually prefer because it is quieter and better for doing our work. Our building is a bit older, with high ceilings that help keep the heat down during the hot afternoons we get here. We have rolls of cloth and various materials stacked up in different corners. It smells like fabric and a bit of machine oil inside. We have a few people who have worked these looms and machines for years. They know the sounds of the equipment better than anyone. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just focus on the textiles we are making. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat, and we always have time for that. It is a community feel in Arumbarthapuram. We handle our orders as they come in, and sometimes we are working late into the evening if a big batch needs finishing. The floors are a bit worn from all the walking, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more interested in what we are producing than how the office looks. It is just a regular textile place run by people who know the trade. We just want to keep the machines running and the work going well.
