We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, and most of the people who live on this street know us. Our office is a simple room on the ground floor. It gets a bit of a breeze from the street, which is nice in the summer. We aren't trying to be a big corporate entity. We’re just a few people who wanted to help out with lifecare issues in our community. We spend a lot of time visiting people in their homes or having them come by for a chat. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we feel like we’re falling behind on all the things we want to do. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy reports. We just keep our notes in some old notebooks and try to stay on top of things. Some days are quieter than others, and we use that time to catch up on paperwork. The street outside can get pretty noisy with scooters and people talking, but that’s just part of being in Pondicherry. We’re just a small, honest foundation trying to do some good without making a big production out of it. We like it here on Baghath Singh Street and plan to stay.
