Ams Travels

Ams Travels is located at No 27, Chanda Shahib Street. This is right in the 605001 area of Pondicherry. The street is usually busy with people going about their business, and our office is just a simple place among the others. We don't have any big signs or flashing lights, just our name on the door. Inside, there is just enough room for a few of us to work and a place for customers to sit. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, talking to people who need a ride or are planning a journey somewhere. The office can get a bit warm during the middle of the day, so we keep the fan going and sometimes stand near the door for some air. We’ve been on Chanda Shahib Street for a while and we know most of the people around here. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly just checking schedules and making sure the vehicles are where they are supposed to be. We don't use any fancy software, just our notebooks and our experience from doing this for years. Sometimes a customer will come in just to ask for directions or to chat for a bit. We don't mind that at all. It’s just how things are in a local neighborhood like this. We just keep things simple and try to get through the day’s work without any big problems.
