Aleem Travels

Head down Moolakkadai Main Road in Villianur and you’ll find us near the Sulthanpet area. Aleem Travels has been operating from this spot for a good while now. It’s a busy part of Pondicherry, especially during the market hours. We mostly handle local rentals and trips for families or groups who need to get out of town for a bit. Our office isn’t anything special to look at, just a practical space where we keep the keys and the logbooks. The drivers we work with are from around here, so they know the roads well. Sometimes the traffic on the main road is a headache, but we’re used to it by now. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating where the cars are and making sure they get back in time for the next person. It’s a lot of talking to customers and figuring out schedules. We don’t really do big advertising, mostly just people walking in or hearing about us from their neighbors. The cars get a lot of use, so there is always a bit of cleaning or mechanical work being talked about. It's a small business and we like it that way. Usually, someone is always around the office if you need to ask a question about a trip to a nearby town or a temple visit. We just keep things moving every day as best as we can. It is a simple life for us here in Villianur.
