Our place is over at 5 Durga Datta Sadan in the Haveli Curti area. It’s a quiet enough spot, though Curti can get busy during certain times of the year. The building itself has been around for a while, and we’ve made our home here for the packaging work we do. If you walk in, you’ll likely see stacks of materials and boxes waiting to be sorted. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working space where things actually get packed and prepared. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving from one side of the room to the other to make sure the labels are straight and the boxes are taped up tight. The air can get a little stuffy in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the Sadan, so we keep the fans going pretty much all day long. Most of the staff live nearby, so there’s a lot of talk about local news and what’s happening in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the orders go out when they’re supposed to. Sometimes we run out of tape or the printer jams, and we have to stop and fix it, which is just part of the daily routine. We’ve been in Haveli Curti long enough that the neighbors know us, and we try to keep things simple and honest.
