We’ve been at Flat No .1 in Tulshi Niwas for a while now. Most people around Yeswanth Nagar know where we are, right there in Tisk. It’s a busy spot in Ponda. Dealing with tires is what we do all day. It’s dirty work sometimes but it’s what keeps the town moving. People come in with punctures or needing a new set before the monsoon hits. We’ve seen all sorts of cars and bikes roll through the yard. Some days are slow, just sitting around waiting for a customer, and other days everyone decides their wheels are bald at the same time. The shop isn't fancy. It's just a place where we stock the rubber and get things fitted. Moving heavy stacks of tires around keeps us busy. We know the roads around Goa can be rough on a car, so there's always someone needing a look at their treads. Living and working here in Ponda feels right. It's a small community and you see the same faces. We just try to keep enough stock so nobody has to wait too long. It's not a big corporate office, just us in a ground floor flat setup doing what needs doing. Sometimes the rain makes things messy, but we manage. If you’re driving through Tisk, you probably passed us. We’ve been here long enough that the building feels like home. Just simple work, really. Nothing more to it than that.
