Nishita Industries

Nishita Industries is situated on Gidc Plot No. A-9 and A-10, right across from the Sun Pharma plant in the Madkaim Industrial Estate. Being in an industrial zone like Madkaim means our surroundings are mostly other factories and warehouses. It’s a place where work is the only thing on the agenda. Our plots are fairly large, which gives us the room we need for our equipment and the materials we use daily. The sound of the industrial estate is a mix of humming machines and the occasional truck reversing with its alarm beeping. We spend the majority of our time on the shop floor, making sure the production stays on track. Opposite us, Sun Pharma is a massive landmark that helps people find their way to our gate. The weather in the estate can get quite hot, especially in the middle of the afternoon when the sun beats down on the metal roofs. We take our breaks in a small shaded area where the guys can sit for a bit before getting back to it. Nishita Industries isn't about looking pretty; it is about the output and the manual work that happens between those walls. There is a lot of dust and the smell of metal or oil, depending on what we are running that day. It is a no-nonsense environment where we just focus on the tasks at hand and getting the orders ready.
