Vinayaga Fly Ash

You can find us at number 7, Nethaji Road in Palaghat. We decided to go with Vinayaga Fly Ash for the name. It’s a bit different from the traditional red brick places you see everywhere. We work with fly ash, which is a bit of a gray, fine powder before it gets turned into bricks. It is a messy business, and Nethaji Road is always a bit gray around our gates. Palaghat is a good place to be, even if it gets incredibly hot in the summer. We have a small team here. Most of us grew up nearby. We don't have a big mission statement or any of those things companies usually have. We just show up, mix the ash, press the bricks, and stack them up. It is repetitive, but there is a rhythm to it that I like. The machinery breaks down more often than I’d like, which usually means I’ve spent the afternoon with a wrench in my hand instead of moving product. We aren't fancy people. We wear old clothes and we talk plain English. If someone comes by asking for a load, we give them a straight answer about how long it will take. We don't like to overcomplicate things. It is just about making a product that people can use to build their walls. That is enough for us. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
