Leo Polymers

Our unit is located at Sf. No. 153 in Puliyamaram Thottam, out in the Vellalapalayam area. It is mostly agricultural land and other small industrial spots around us. At Leo Polymers, we work with plastic materials to make various basic products. It is a bit of a messy environment because of the raw materials that come in large sacks. We have a few machines that stay running for most of the day. It is definitely not a quiet place to sit, but we have gotten used to the constant hum of the equipment. We started this unit because there was a steady need for these kinds of polymer goods in the nearby markets. Most of the people who work here live in the houses close by, so it feels like a local effort. We do not spend any money on fancy advertising or websites. If someone wants to see what we are doing, they usually just drive down and walk into the shed to see the items we have made. The building is just a basic structure that keeps the rain off the machines and the stock. We watch the quality of what comes out of the molds but we do not use any big corporate words for it. It is just hard work, especially when the weather gets hot, but we keep the machines moving.
