V M Samal & Company has been over at 38-90-9/3 in Jothi Nagar for quite a while. Our office is tucked away and isn't much to look at from the outside, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our time dealing with the usual company business, which involves a lot of sitting behind desks and making phone calls. The air conditioner hums in the background, and there’s always a stack of ledgers that needs looking at. Jothi Nagar is where we spend our days, and we’ve gotten used to the local sounds and the people who live around here. We don’t put on any airs about what we do. It’s just a business, and we show up every morning to do the work. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have several things happening at once, but we eventually sort it out. We don’t have a flashy sign or a big lobby. People usually just knock and come in. We’ve had the same furniture for years and the floors are a bit worn down from people walking back and forth. It’s a regular place with regular people working in it. We deal with whatever comes across the desk, whether it’s easy or a bit of a headache. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small company like this. We stay busy enough that the days go by pretty fast, and before we know it, it’s time to lock up and head home for the evening.
