Sri Mahalakshmi Driving School

Sri Mahalakshmi Driving School is located on Annur Road over in Karanampettai. It’s a busy road, which is actually pretty good for people who are trying to learn how to handle a car in real traffic. We have a small office where we keep the paperwork and keys. It’s not a big place, just a room with a few chairs and a desk. We’ve been teaching people to drive for a while now. The cars we use are reliable, though they have a few scratches from years of practice. That’s to be expected when you’re teaching beginners. We spend most of our day out on the road, not in the office. Our instructors are just local guys who know the streets around Karanampettai like the back of their hands. We don't use any fancy simulators or anything. We just get behind the wheel and start. It’s the best way to learn, honestly. Sometimes the weather is hot and the AC in the car has to work extra hard, but we manage. People come to us from all over the local area because they see us driving around. We don't do much talking; we just focus on the gears and the clutch. It’s a simple business. We help people get their licenses and that’s about it. It’s practical, everyday work that needs doing.
