Rk Exports & Imports is located over at No. 61 Singanallur. It’s a pretty busy spot and the traffic out front can be a real headache during the morning rush. We’ve been operating from this building for a good while now. The office isn’t anything special to look at, just some old desks, a few computers that hum too loudly, and stacks of shipping manifests that never seem to get smaller. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers and making sure the crates are packed the right way. We deal with stuff coming in from all over and going back out again. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do everything by hand, which slows us down, but we manage. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we all go around eleven. The guys who work here have been around for years, so we know how each other works. It’s not a corporate place with fancy meetings. We just sit around, check the lists, and handle the logistics. When it rains, the roof in the back makes a lot of noise, but it keeps the goods dry. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the counts are right. It’s a simple setup. We don’t spend much on decorating the place because we’re usually too busy moving things around or answering the phone. It is just a practical office for getting items shipped.
