The school building is part of the daily scenery for the shopkeepers and shoppers who come through here. We start our days early before the heat gets too bad. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long, which is just something we have gotten used to over time. The address at D Colony is easy to find if you are a local. We aren't a huge institution with a big campus; we are a neighborhood school. Most of our staff lives nearby and walks to work. We see the same vegetable sellers and tea stall owners every morning. It feels like we are part of a big family here in the Bazaar. There is no corporate feeling to how we run things. We just open the doors and get the lessons started. The rooms are simple and the atmosphere is very down-to-earth. Pollachi is a beautiful place with all the coconut trees around, but here in the center of town, it is all about the hustle and bustle of daily life. We just do our part.
