Magna Electro Castings Limited

We are located at Sf. No. 34 and 35 on the Coimbatore Pollachi Main Road, right in Thamraikulam. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city, but being on the main road makes it easy for the big lorries to find us. Magna Electro Castings is a busy place. The furnaces and the casting process make it a very hot environment to work in. You can see the heat shimmer above the roof on most days. We have a lot of people working here, and it feels like a small village sometimes. Everyone has their specific job, from managing the molds to cleaning up the finished pieces. The ground is covered in dark sand and bits of metal. It’s a heavy industry, so safety is something we have to watch constantly. We don't have a polished showroom with glass walls. Everything here is built for function. We have a canteen where everyone grabs a quick bite and some tea during the shifts. The sound of the machinery is something you stop hearing after a few years; it just becomes background noise. Outside the gates, the road to Pollachi is always busy with buses and cars, but inside the compound, we are focused on the molten metal and the molds. It’s hard work that leaves you tired at the end of the shift, but we’ve been doing it a long time and don't know any other way to work.
