Lions Eye Hospital

Lions Eye Hospital is located on Pallakkad Road, and it’s a place that’s been serving the people around here for quite a while. We focus specifically on eyes, so we see everyone from kids who need glasses for school to older folks who are having trouble seeing the road. The hospital is right on the main road, which is convenient for those coming from the surrounding villages. It’s a simple setup inside. We have the testing rooms with the lenses and the charts, and a small area where we can do minor procedures. The waiting room is often full of people chatting while they wait for their turn. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology, just the solid equipment we need to do the job right. The staff here is used to the heat and the dust that comes in from Pallakkad Road, so we spend a lot of time keeping things as clean as we can. We do a lot of cataract work, and it’s always good to see someone walk out seeing better than when they came in. We don't have any big corporate brochures or slick advertising. Most of our patients come because someone told them we could help. It’s a basic, honest medical facility where we just try to do our best for the people who need eye care. We open up early and stay until the last patient is seen.
