Lakshmi Pooja Store

Lakshmi Pooja Store is located at number 4, House Colony. We are right by the Railway Station South and Arts College Road in Udumelpet. It is a busy little corner of the world. With the trains coming and going and the students walking to the college, there is always someone passing by. Our shop has been here for quite some time now. We keep a lot of different things in stock, and the shelves are always full. Sometimes it feels a little disorganized, especially on days when we get new crates in. We don't use any modern computers for our sales. We just have a simple paper ledger and a pen. It has worked for us for years, so we don't see a reason to change it now. The sound of the railway station becomes part of the day, and you stop even hearing the whistles after a while. Most of our customers are folks from the House Colony who we’ve known for a long time. We have our regulars who come in every week for their supplies. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a logo. We just open up in the morning and do our best to have what people are looking for. Udumelpet is a good town, and we are happy to have our little spot here near the station. It’s just how we live.
