U S Car Driving School is located right at 3-9-87 on the main road that goes from Kurnool to Ongole, right here in Podili. It’s a pretty busy stretch of road, which is actually a good thing for anyone trying to learn how to drive. You get used to the trucks and the buses real fast. We have a small office where we handle all the paperwork, but most of our time is spent out in the cars. We aren't a big chain with a fleet of brand-new vehicles. Our cars are well-used and we keep them running so people can practice. It’s mostly local folks who come to us, people who need to get their license for work or just to get around town. We show them the basics like how to use the mirrors and when to shift gears without grinding them too much. It gets dusty and hot sitting in the car all day, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just how the work goes. We don’t have a website or any fancy advertisements. Usually, someone just walks in because they saw our sign while driving past on the main road. We try to be patient with the students because learning to drive can be a bit nerve-wracking at first. It’s a simple, honest business. We just help people get confident enough to handle the road on their own without making a big deal out of the process.
