24&7 Best Deals

Similgair is where we are based, and 24&7 Best Deals is the name we went with. It’s a bit of a funny name because we aren't literally open every second of the day, but we do try to stay busy. The area is quiet, which is nice for getting things done without too many distractions. We have a lot of stuff coming in and out all the time. Sometimes the crates pile up so high we have to move things to the back just to walk around. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and shifting boxes. We don't have a fancy office with carpets. It’s more of a warehouse feel where everything is about the inventory. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the packaging. We are just local people trying to make a go of it. Sometimes we miss a call because we’re in the middle of unloading a truck. It’s not perfect, but we try our best. Similgair isn't a place people talk about much, but it’s home to us. We’ve had to learn everything as we went along. There wasn't a manual for this. We just opened the doors and started working. It’s been a few years now and we are still here, just doing the same thing every day and hoping for the best. It takes a lot out of you some days, but that is how it goes. We don't mind the quiet.
