Shivalik Apparels Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. 65 in the Industrial Area Phase 2. This is a real working factory, so it’s not exactly quiet or pretty. We have rows of sewing machines and people working on different stages of making clothes. Since we are in the industrial area, the surroundings are mostly other warehouses and manufacturing units. It can get pretty loud with all the machinery running at once. We handle a lot of different apparel orders throughout the year. Sometimes it’s a rush to meet a deadline and everyone is working late, and other times it’s a bit more relaxed. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy meetings. We just meet on the floor and talk about what needs to get done for the day. The building at Plot No. 65 has been our home for a while now. It’s got some wear and tear, but it’s a solid place to work. We have a crew of workers who have been with us for years, and we all just know our roles. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything like that. People just see what we make when the finished garments are packed into the trucks and sent off. It is just a straightforward garment factory where we focus on the practical side of making clothes for people. We show up, we work, and we go home.
