Jaltarang Fish House

Jaltarang Fish House is located at No. 224- B- 3 in the Shiv Shakti Colony, right on Nalagarh Road. We deal with fish and everything that goes along with keeping them, so the place usually smells like water and fish food. It’s a bit of a specialized business, and we’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. The tanks need a lot of cleaning, and there’s always a pump or a filter that needs checking. It keeps us on our toes. People from the colony walk in pretty often, sometimes just to look at the different colors in the tanks. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a fish isn’t doing well, we tell people. We don't have a massive warehouse, just this shop where we manage our stock. Nalagarh Road can get pretty loud with all the trucks passing by, but once you step inside, it’s a bit calmer with the sound of the bubbling water. We’ve learned a lot over the years about what works and what doesn’t. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy buckets and moving things around. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around; we just want to make sure the fish we have are healthy and the people who come in get what they need. It’s a steady rhythm of feeding, cleaning, and talking to customers who share the hobby. We like the colony and our neighbors.
