Our workshop is at Plot 117 and 118 in the H-Block of MIDC, Pimpri. It’s right near the Morwadi court, which makes it easy to find for most people. We deal with air tools—things like pneumatic drills and grinders that make a lot of noise. Being in an industrial zone like Pimpri means we’re surrounded by machines and grease all day. IEC Air Tool started out because we saw how much these tools were needed in the local factories. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, but that’s part of the trade. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and comes to the door. We spend a lot of time testing the tools to make sure they actually spin right. The weather in Pimpri gets hot, and the shed can get stuffy, but we keep the fans going and keep working. We’ve seen many businesses come and go around the Morwadi court area, but we’ve stuck it out. It’s honest work. If a tool breaks, we look at it and try to fix it. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make and sell air tools that people can use for their own projects or in their plants. The metal roof makes quite a sound when it rains, which we actually like.
