Dr. Karad Hospital

Dr. Karad Hospital is out at Keshavraj Hills, in the Pimpalgaon Garudeshwar area. It’s a bit of a drive for some, but the air is a lot clearer up here than in the middle of a big city. The hospital sits on a bit of a slope because of the hills. We serve the local post at Pimpalgaon and the surrounding Taluka area. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when we have a full house of patients. The building is sturdy and built to handle the weather we get in the hills. We have a small team of nurses and helpers who mostly live nearby. Because we are a bit further out, we have to make sure we keep plenty of supplies on hand. The rooms are simple with basic beds and windows that look out toward the greenery. People from the village come here when they have problems, and we know many of them by their first names. It’s a community hospital through and through. We don't have a lot of the fancy gadgets you might find in a city center, but we have what’s necessary to take care of people. The walk up to the entrance can be a bit steep, but there’s a path that’s easy to follow. It’s a calm spot to get better. We just go about our work every day, looking after the folks from Pimpalgaon and the hills without any big fuss.
