Our office is tucked away in the Vimal Apartment over in Pimpri, specifically on the 7th Main and 7th Cross of Ragee Nagar. It’s a quiet enough spot, though being near the Annashaeb Magar Stadium means it can get a bit loud whenever there is an event or a big game going on. S D Kadlak & Co has been running from this location for a while. We aren't in a big glass building or anything; it’s just a regular apartment setup where we’ve converted a few rooms into workspace. There’s a kitchen where we make tea and a small balcony where you can see the street below. Most of the people who come to see us are locals from the neighborhood or folks who have been told about us by word of mouth. We spend most of our hours looking at documents and clicking away at keyboards. It’s practical work. Sometimes the stairs in the building are a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens now and then. The furniture is a bit older, and the files are shoved into every available corner, but we know where everything is. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which I think people appreciate when they come in. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything, just a couple of chairs in the hallway for when someone has to wait a few minutes before we can talk to them.
