Rama Hospital

Rama Hospital is situated right on NH 24, near the Mother Dairy. Being near the highway means we get a lot of noise from the trucks and buses passing by at all hours. It’s a very recognizable spot because of the Mother Dairy booth nearby. The hospital itself is a sturdy building that has seen a lot of use over the years. We have a reception area that stays busy with people coming in from the surrounding neighborhoods. The benches are made of metal and can be a bit cold to sit on, but they are easy to keep clean. We have different wards for different needs, and the nurses are always moving back and forth between them. The lighting in the hallways is a little dim in some spots, but we make sure the patient rooms are bright and clear. Working near NH 24 means we are always aware of the traffic and the weather outside. When it rains, you can hear it drumming on the roof quite loudly. We keep a stash of charts and files behind the main desk, and sometimes it takes a minute to find the right one if we are having a hectic day. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just focus on the work that needs to be done inside these walls. It’s a practical environment where everyone knows their job and gets on with it daily.
