Shyamlal Mahendra Kumar

We've been over here at Moh. Chah Dibba for a long time now. Shyamlal Mahendra Kumar is just the name on the sign, but mostly people just know us as the place to stop by when they're in the neighborhood. It gets pretty busy around here some days, especially in the mornings when everyone is out doing their errands. We keep the doors open and just try to get things done without too much fuss. It isn't a fancy setup. There are boxes stacked up and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for, but we usually get there. The building itself has seen better days, though it stays cool enough in the summer. We don’t really do much advertising because most people just walk in after hearing about us from a neighbor. Sometimes the family helps out, and other times it's just one or two of us behind the counter. We’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. New shops come and go, but we’re still here in the same spot. If you ever find yourself near Chah Dibba, you'll probably see us. We don't have a big website or anything like that. Just a physical shop where we handle the daily work. It’s a simple way to make a living and we’ve gotten used to the routine. Most of our regulars know us by name, which makes the days go by faster. We like the local life.
