Nabi & Sons

Nabi & Sons is located at 147, Bashir Khan Lane, just off Lal Road. It’s an old family business, and you can tell by the way the shop looks. We’ve got shelves that have been there for decades and the floor is worn down from all the feet walking over it. Bashir Khan Lane is quite narrow, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when a delivery comes through. We handle a bit of everything, depending on what our customers are looking for that day. It’s me and my brothers and our father still comes in sometimes to keep an eye on things. We don't have any fancy computers or a digital system. Most of our records are still kept in big ledgers that we write in by hand. It might seem slow to some people, but it works for us. Lal Road is always busy, so we get a lot of people just passing through and stopping in to see what we have. We aren't interested in being the biggest shop in town. We just want to keep the family name going and provide what the locals need. It’s a simple life. We open early, we stay late, and we talk to whoever comes through the door. That’s just the way it’s always been for us here. Everyone around Lal Road knows the lane and they know where to find us when they need something. We just try to keep the shop running like our father did before us.
