Malik Marble Traders

Our shop is right in the Main Market of Ashok Colony, in the Civil Lines South area. We are very close to Station Road, which makes it easy for the trucks to bring in the new stone. The shop is usually packed with different kinds of marble. We have slabs leaning against the walls and smaller samples piled up on the counters. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we have a few people inside. We don't have a big corporate setup or a polished showroom. It’s a working market shop, so there’s always some dust on the samples and the sound of the street outside is quite loud. We spend our time helping people look through the different colors and patterns. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving the stones so the light hits them right. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show what we have and tell people the price. My clothes always seem to have a bit of white dust on them by the end of the day. We have a small back area where we keep the tools and some extra stock. It’s a busy life being in the main market, but we enjoy being right in the middle of everything. We just keep working through the orders and making sure the stone is ready when people come to pick it up. It’s just us doing our daily job.
