Gaurav Electricals sits inside the Mahalaxmi Complex on Station Road in Pilibhit. It’s a busy area because of the train station being so close. We sell all the usual electrical bits and pieces that homeowners or electricians need for their daily work. You’ll see wires, switches, light bulbs, and maybe some fans hanging from the ceiling. We don't have a huge showroom, so things are stored in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to others. People come in when a fuse blows or when they’re building a new room and need the wiring done. We know which brands last longer and which ones are just okay, so we tell people that straight. It’s better than them coming back to complain later. The shop gets a lot of light from the front, but the back is a bit dark with all the inventory. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. On hot days, the station road is really noisy and dusty, but we stay busy with customers coming in and out. It’s just a straightforward shop. We don’t do much advertising; people mostly find us because we’ve been in the complex for a while. If we don’t have a specific part, we can usually order it from our suppliers within a few days. We try to keep enough stock so people don't have to go to a bigger city for simple parts.
