Pilibhit is where we started. Specifically Bilaspur, near Suraj Colony. Durga Prasad's place is the landmark. Most people around here know it. We've been operating out of this spot for a while now. It's a mutual benefit setup, so it's really just about the members. We don't have a huge staff or a call center. If you call, someone here picks up. Usually, it's one of us who lives just a few minutes away. We deal with savings and loans among ourselves. It’s practical. Life in Bilaspur is pretty straightforward, and we like to keep things that way too. No need for confusing talk or long forms that nobody understands. We just sit across the desk and figure it out. The neighborhood is growing, with new houses popping up, but we've stayed in the same spot. It’s easy to find. Sometimes the tea runs out, but the work gets done. We aren't a big bank from the city, and we don't try to act like one. We just do what we do for the people in the colony and nearby. We spend our mornings checking the paperwork and the afternoons talking to folks who stop by after work. It’s a steady routine that keeps us connected to the street. The sun can get pretty hot in the summer, but the porch stays shaded. It's just a normal part of the day for us in Pilibhit.
