Ramesh Flour Mill

Ramesh Flour Mill is sitting right in Ward Number 2 in the village. We are located near Satipura, not far from the Hanumangarh Junction. It is a simple place with a few grinding machines and a lot of bags. My clothes are usually covered in a fine layer of white dust by noon. That is just how the work goes when you are milling grain all day. People from around the area bring their wheat and bajra here. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a workspace with a concrete floor and the smell of fresh flour. The machines make a steady humming sound that fills the whole room. Sometimes it gets quite hot inside when the motors have been running for hours. I spend a lot of time cleaning the stones and making sure the grain is poured in correctly. We don't use any big computers to run things. It is all manual work and keeping an eye on the texture of the flour. When the power goes out, we just take a break and sit outside. Life moves a bit slower here than in the city. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. Most folks in Satipura know where to find us. We just focus on getting the grinding done and making sure people have what they need for their rotis. It is honest work and keeps us busy from morning to night.
